Have New Zealand wine producers more up their vinous sleeves than heady Sauvignon Blanc? And how does the latest Kiwi vintage of that famously aromatic varietal rate? Irish wine lovers have a chance to find out at the third Annual New Zealand Wine Fair in the Coach House, Dublin Castle on February 1st, 7-9 p.m. This year 27 wineries will show their wares, and Brian Bicknell of Seresin Estate, Glenn Thomas of Vavasour and Kim Crawford of Kim Crawford Wines will be among the winemakers on hand to pour and chat. Tickets £8 from the Wine Development Board of Ireland, tel 01-2804666.
