A north African man (31) is being held by anti-terrorist police investigating the discovery of the deadly poison ricin earlier this month, it was revealed today.
The man was arrested in north-east London last night under the Terrorism Act 2000, Scotland Yard said.
The arrest was part of the massive inquiry sparked by the find of ricin at a flat in Wood Green, North London, on January 5th and was also linked to recent arrests at a mosque in Finsbury Park, north London, sources said.
The man is being questioned at a central London police station.
