Not Squares, Little Big Tent:
Time for a new set of expectations. Belfast trio Not Squares have thrilled many in the last few years with their energetic, full-throttle punktronica and tracks like Asylum.
But in recent months, there's been a change in the air and Not Squares are now heading down a much different motorway.
And it's quite a trip. While they can still pack plenty of those exuberant crowd-pleasing punches, it's the newer tunes, the ones with fizzy, trippy, slo-mo funk in the engine, which dominates proceedings. Switching lanes in this way is ambitious and audacious, but Not Squares have the suss and the style to pull this particular move off.
