National Toll Roads (NTR) today posted a profit of €14.2 million for the year to the end of March, a decrease of €8 million on the 15 month period to March 2006.
The utility group, which sold the West-Link toll bridge to the State earlier this year, said revenue for the year was €446.9 million, a decrease of €21.1 million compared to the previous period, which it said reflected an underlying increase in revenue of 19 per cent.
Underlying earnings for the year rose 17 per cent to €79.4 million.
NTR also announced its first two recycling acquisitions in the United States, with the purchase of Recycle Management Corporation in Pittsburgh and Delta Management Group in Illinois.
