Up to 140 new jobs are to be created in Dublin over the next 12 months as part of a €12 million investment from nursing home group TLC.

The company is building a new centre in Northwood Park in Santry which will contain 100 beds and day care and respite facilities.

The centre will be the fourth purpose-built, luxury nursing home developed by the company in Ireland. TLC, which currently employs 354 people, also has plans for two other facilities in Blanchardstown and Killiney.

Recruitment for the facility is currently underway with the centre seeking staff for a number of roles including nurses, clinical nurse managers, care assistants and medical staff, chefs, kitchen porters and housekeeping staff, administrators, reception staff and caretakers.
