Racing:  Listen, the ante-post favourite for the Stan James 1000 Guineas, will miss the Classic due to a setback.

Aidan O'Brien's charge was a general 6/1 market leader for the fillies' first Classic but will be given a month off to recover after returning stiff from a canter yesterday.

Vet John Halley examined the daughter of Sadler's Wells following her work and connections decided not to risk her for the first part of the season.

O'Brien told the Racing Post: "She will miss the 1,000 Guineas and, as she won't be going to Newmarket, it is unlikely that she will make the Oaks. Hopefully, we will have her back for the second half of the season."
