Rugby:Eric Elwood has named a 25-man squad ahead of the Thursday's Magners League meeting with Cardiff Blues.
Gavin Duffy, Ian Keatley and Niva Ta’auso have all been passed fit for the game that comes just five days after a bruising 15-15 draw against Ulster.
There is also a welcome return for international flanker Johnny O’Connor, who only recently resumed contact training after a lengthy lay-off, while Ireland youths centre Aidan Wynne is among the trimmed down squad.
Hooker Seán Cronin is named but his back-up comes in the shape of Academy graduate Dermot Murphy after the 21 year old Galwegian impressed in pre-season.
Connacht lost 21-9 in last season’s corresponding fixture at the Cardiff City Stadium, but having banished their away day hoodoo in Glasgow this season and having lost only once (away to the Scarlets by two points) so far, confidence is high regardless of the quick turnaround.
