Irish rugby captain Brian O’Driscoll is among the owners of a number of holiday homes in Co Wexford seeking a High Court injunction requiring restoration of water supply to the houses after it was allegedly cut off in a dispute over management fees.

The dispute relates to properties in the Seafield Demesne Hotel and Golf development in Ballymoney.

Fifty-nine people, including O’Driscoll, own 33 of the 60 houses and are seeking an order requiring Seafield Demesne Management (SDM) Ltd to restore their water supply, allegedly cut off in March.

Mr Justice Kevin Feeney, who will give his decision on the application tomorrow, noted that it was agreed between the parties that the investors had either paid a total of €207,130 under protest to SDM or into their solicitor’s account in relation to management fees since the dispute began in 2007. Ronan Murphy SC, for the owners, said the dispute was over a failure by SDM to justify the service charge amount. Martin Hayden SC, for SDM, said his client was owed €335,000 for 2008 to 2011.
