Stephen O'Neill and Mickey McGee have both been ruled out for Tyrone ahead if this weekend's Ulster Senior Football Championship clash with Derry at Healy Park in Omagh.
Both were in a race to be fit in time but manager Mickey Harte confirmed hamstring injuries will keep the pair sidelined. The loss of O'Neill will be a particular blow for the Red Hands who also have a number of other injury concerns.
Martin Penrose, Joe McMahon and Gerard Cavlan remain injury concerns but Owen Mulligan is fit after a foot injury. Penrose is the biggest worry with Harte describing the half-forward as "extremely doubtful".
Tyrone will be without Brian McGuigan for the entire season. The centre half-forward sustained a broken leg in a club game last month.
News from the Derry camp reveals they will definitely be without injured players Paul Murphy, Gerard O'Kane, Gavin Donaghy and Paul Cartin.
