Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has firmly denied claims his players taunted Rangers fans after Sunday's 3-0 win at Ibrox.
It had been claimed in a newspaper they had sprayed fans with champagne from an open dressing room window.
O'Neill said: "It's complete and utter nonsense. There was no liquid in our dressing room so I am baffled as to how fans could have been sprayed with anything.
"Also the windows in the Ibrox dressing room are so high that it's impossible for players to see the people in the street or vice versa. There were a couple of windows open when we arrived but the lads closed them without needing to be asked.
"In fact, our players were actually praised by a senior police officer, who thanked them for the way they had behaved both on and off the field," O'Neill said.
"We avoided staying on the pitch too long to celebrate after the match had finished so as not to be accused of rubbing Rangers' fans noses in it."
Neither Scottish police nor the Scottish Football Association plan to take the matter further.
