Tyrone's Stephen O'Neill faces another spell on the sidelines after suffering a reoccurrence of a hamstring injury in training.
The forward missed Tyrone's championship opener against Fermanagh because of the problem. A knee problem then restricted him to a substitutes role against Donegal.
Since then O'Neill has made good progress and was in contention for a place in the team to face Monaghan in the Ulster final next month.
The prospect of playing from the start appears more remote now but O'Neill does have time on his side as the game is not scheduled until July 15th.
Dates, venues and start times for the first round of the football qualifiers and Tommy Murphy Cup have been confirmed.
Ulster heavyweights Armagh and Derry tussle in the tie of the round, with the game scheduled for Clones on Sunday, July 8th.
Last year's beaten All-Ireland finalists Mayo host Cavan at Castelbar the night before while Meath, beaten in Leinster at the second time of asking by arch rivals Dublin, travel to Newry where Down lie in wait.
National League winners Donegal will be looking to atone for their disappointing surrender to Tyrone in the Ulster championship when they play Leitrim in Carrick-on-Shannon on the Saturday.
