Athletics:Derval O'Rourke could only manage seventh in tonight's 100 metres hurdles at the Diamond League circuit in Zurich, her first race since winning silver at the European Championships in Barcelona.

O’Rourke was marginally behind Turkey’s Nevin Yanit, who denied her gold in Barcelona, to finish sixth (12.94).
David Gillick’s 400 metres race ran out of steam as he eventually finished eighth in 46.05, his slowest time of the season. American two-time world champion Jeremy Wariner won in 44.13 seconds, the fastest time in the world this year.
