The Minister for Public Enterprise, Mrs O'Rourke, is expected to be released from hospital today, following treatment for a broken ankle.
Mrs O'Rourke, who underwent surgery on Sunday in the Mater Private Hospital in Dublin, is understood to have "badly broken" her ankle in a fall in Athlone. The incident occurred on Saturday evening after the Minister's constituency clinic in the town.
