London Irish have appointed Conor O'Shea as their new managing director. Former Ireland full-back O'Shea, who will continue in his role as the Exiles' rugby director, replaces Richard Sanderson.
Sanderson is leaving early in the New Year to pursue other business interests.
"My first 12 months in management at this club have provided me with sufficient insight to the business to want to take on this demanding new role," O'Shea said.
"I have no illusions about the difficulty of successfully managing to mix the heritage of a club like London Irish, with the running of a professional squad and academy, and meeting the commercial demands of the business.
"I am grateful to the directors for giving me the opportunity to do so, and look forward to the challenge."
