Houston - The world's only surviving octuplets were in critical condition in a Texas hospital yesterday and doctors said it was too early to say how many of the premature babies would live.
The babies, six girls and two boys as yet unnamed, were being monitored on a "minute-to-minute basis" in the neonatal intensive care unit at Texas Children's Hospital, they said.
