Offaly manager Mike McNamara has selected two of the three Whelahan brothers for Thursday evening's All-Ireland hurling qualifier with Limerick.
Both Brian and Barry will start the match while Simon has been named on the replacements bench. Brian takes up his normal position at centre-half back while Barry once again starts in midfield.
The three brothers returned to training with the county last night having previously missed training over the weekend because of their dissatisfaction over events at a practice game against Waterford.
The Offaly side features three changes from their last outing with Niall Claffey replacing Barry Teehan in the full-back line and Brendan Murphy in attack. McNamara has also left a vacancy in midfield.
