A Wicklow man joined four-time Grand Slam winner Kim Clijsters on the Wimbledon court on Friday after he made a suggestion as to how she should serve.
The Belgian tennis player was playing in the Ladies’ Invitation Doubles when she asked her teammate Rennae Stubbs how she should serve.
It was at this point Chris Quinn shouted from the crowd that she should "body serve," and so Clijsters beckoned him down to try it for himself.
The strict Wimbledon dress code meant Mr Quinn had to beat himself into a little white skirt and long sleeve top, courtesy of Clijsters - who at this stage was on the ground laughing.
Quinn tried his hand at the serve and managed to return the first one.
Wicklownews.net is reporting that Mr Quinn got to keep the skirt.
