The price of oil rallied above 26 dollars a barrel in early trading today amid concerns a rise of Israeli-Palestinian violence could disrupt oil supplies.
A barrel of reference Brent North Sea crude for May delivery rose to 26.69 dollars a barrel in the first few minutes of trading - from 25.92 dollars at the previous close.
