BOSTON A rare spring blizzard buried New England in more than two feet of snow yesterday, leaving more than 150,000 people without power and killing at least one person in a car accident, officials said. Governor William Weld of Massachusetts declared a state of emergency as roads remained impassable, public transport services were halted and schools closed.
