ORANGEMEN in the hard line Spirit of Drumcree group are organising a major conference which they hope to hold between the May 30th elections and the June 10th all party negotiations.
Talks with Sinn Fein, controversial Orange marches and the order's institutional links with the UUP will be discussed.
The June "congress", as it is called, is likely to be held in Armagh. A spokesman, Mr Joel Patton, said the timing had been carefully chosen "It is appropriate because of the parades issue and the date of June 10th for all party talks, having in mind our principle of opposing talks with Sinn Fein," he said.
