Ozzy Osbourne has been moved out of intensive care as he recovers from his crash injuries.
The singer - who scored his first number one single last week with daughter Kelly - had to be put on a ventilator following a quad bike accident a fortnight ago.
But his representatives say he has now been moved from the unit at Wexham Park Hospital, Slough, Berkshire, to a private clinic.
A spokeswoman said: "Ozzy is progressing well but is still recuperating from his accident two weeks ago."
He underwent emergency surgery after breaking eight ribs and a collarbone and cracking a vertebra in his neck when the 600lb bike landed on top of him.
He is expected to take around six months to recover from his injuries. Ozzy slept for much of the week after his accident and woke up to discover his single Changes was top of the charts.
He began breathing unaided a week ago and was joking with nurses - asking two of them to marry him.
A statement issued on behalf of his family said: "The Osbourne family are very happy that Ozzy has been allowed out of the Intensive Care Unit for Christmas and would like to thank everyone for their kind support, well wishes and prayers.
"They would also like to thank all the staff at Wexham Park Hospital for the outstanding care and treatment that Ozzy has received since his arrival."
