Paddy Powerand RTEhave announced a new horse racing broadcast deal that will see the bookmakers sponsor all live horse racing televised on the channel.

The deal will begin on Sunday July 18th when the Irish Oaks will be televised live from The Curragh, and will continue with coverage of all 35 days of live racing throughout the year, including the Galway  festival, Leopardstown's Christmas Festival, the 2005 4-day Cheltenham  Festival, the Aintree & Fairyhouse Grand National Meetings, the  Punchestown Festival, the Irish Derby Meeting and the Irish Champion  Stakes.

Mr. Paddy Power, Head of Communications with the bookmakers said: "We are  thrilled to work in partnership with RTE helping to share some of the World's finest racing with the Irish public.
