Two men are due to appear in Dublin District Court this morning in relation to a €13m drug seizure in Lusk, Co Dublin on Saturday.

The men, one in his 20s and the other in his 30s, are expected to be charged under Section 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act (possession with intent to supply).

Gardaí from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Garda National Drugs Unit seized one tonne of cannabis resin and 30kg of cocaine with an estimated street value of €13 million following a search of premises in Lusk.

Three men were originally arrested and held under the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996, at Balbriggan and Swords Garda station.
