A document which promotes the integration of immigrants into church and civic life in Ireland has been prepared by leaders of the Christian churches in Ireland.
It was launched by Minister of State for Integration Mary White in Dublin yesterday.
Ms White described herself as “a Minister in a hurry” who would be listening to and implementing what she heard.
The document sets out 10 “affirmations” which committed the churches to promote integration and interculturalism.
