A number of news acts have been added to the line-up for next month's Electric Picnic event in Stradbally, Co Laois, with Passion Pit, The XX and David Kitt to join the three-day festival.
A total of 16 new names have been announced for the music event, which takes place between Friday, September 4th and Sunday, September 6th. Our Fold, David Geraghty and 8 Ball will join music acts such as former Beach Boy Brian Wilson, Madness, Orbital, The Flaming Lips. Chic and Florence and the Machine.
Chilean DJ and producer Luciano is bringing his new audio-visual project Aether to the Laois event, with a high definition video and audio live set.
Meanwhile, the Little Big tent will see The Hacker, Optimo DJs, Switch and Zombie Nation take to the stage, along with Duke Dumont, Aeroplane DJs, Ebony Bones, Arveene and Misk, and Japanese Popstars.
The festival organisers have also unveiled an A-Z guide of the 120 acts playing on Electric Picnic's main stages. Infromation on the bands, live video clips and photographs are available from the web-based guide.
