The British Labour Party must use its influence with the British government and unionists at Westminster to ensure the multi party talks in the North move quickly to the main agenda, according to the leader of the Progressive Democrats, Ms Harney.
Following a meeting with Ms Mo Mowlam, British Labour Party spokeswoman on the North, in Dublin yesterday, Ms Harney expressed the fear that the British government would play the "Orange card" in the run up to the general election.
