Peace service at Dublin church

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Alderman John Stafford, the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Alderman Alban Maginness, and the British ambassador, Mrs Veronica Sutherland, will be among the attendance at a special "peace service" at the Dublin Unitarian Church tomorrow to mark the opening of the Northern talks on Monday.

The service, which is being organised by the Peace Train Organisation, will also feature singers Pete St John, Tony Malone, Rebecca Smith, Patsy Watchorn and Colm Mooney and the Kilbride School Choir. Alderman Stafford will be accompanied from the Mansion House to the church at St Stephen's Green by the Tallaght Youth Band. The service, which will begin at 11 a.m., will be led by the Rev Bill Darlison and Father Paul Byrne.
