Bruce Willis and Demi Moore are being sued by a former nanny who says she was locked in her room for an hour while Moore verbally abused her. Kim Tannahill also accused the couple of not paying her overtime.

The couple have struck back, suing Tannahill last week for misappropriation of funds and violating an agreement that she would not reveal details about their private life. They said Tannahill's complaints were just "an attempt . . . to get money through extortion."

Five Granada directors pocketed a total of £374,500 when their notice periods were cut from three to two years. Union members handed out pamphlets criticising the Granada board before the meeting and small shareholders raised the issue.
