Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, one of Hollywood's highest profile couples, are to split up after 11 years of marriage. Spokesmen for the couple declined to give a reason or say whether they would seek a divorce. They also declined to discuss who would get custody of the couple's three daughters, Rumer Glenn (9), Scout Laurie (7) and Tallulah Belle (4).
Married after knowing each other for only three months, the couple were known for their extravagant lifestyle. Their wedding was reported to have cost $875,000 and Little Richard sang at the ceremony.
Moore (36), real name Demetria Guynes, is one of Hollywood's biggest female stars. She got her start in the 1984 "Brat-Pack" hit St Elmo's Fire in which she played a cocaine addict. Shortly afterwards she kicked a cocaine habit of her own.
She went on to star in Ghost in 1990 and A Few Good Men in 1992. She achieved national attention by posing nude and very pregnant on the cover of Vanity Fair magazine.
Willis (43), is famed for the Die Hard series. He got his start in the TV series Moon- lighting. He is the star of the movie Armageddon, which opens next week, in which he stops as asteroid on a collision course with earth.
The couple are embroiled in a federal lawsuit in Idaho against their former nanny, Kim Tannahill, who lived with them from 1994 until she was fired last summer. In January the actors sued her, claiming breach of a confidentiality agreement after she talked about their private lives.
Actor, Jack Nicholson met President Fidel Castro at the end of a visit to the Caribbean island, cinema and media sources said.
The three-times Oscar winner met Dr Castro at hid revolution palace in Havana on Wednesday evening, the sources from Cuban cinema and media circle said , with out giving more details.
Nicholson (61), flew out of Havana yesterday after four days on the island.
