Actor Michael J. Fox, star of the Back to the Future trilogy of films, has been fighting Parkinson's Disease since 1991, according to People magazine.
Fox (37) told the magazine in an interview to be published tomorrow that he first noticed a twitch in his little finger while working in Florida in 1991. Within six months the tremor spread to his left hand, and his shoulder was achy and stiff.
"I think I can help people by talking," he said, noting that hiding his condition had become burdensome. The actor underwent a new procedure called a thalamotomy earlier this year which relieved him of his worst tremors.
