ICELANDIC pop singer Bjork has apologised for attacking a journalist representing a Thai television station at Bangkok airport.
Journalist Julie Kaufman, who was hit by Bjork on her arrival at the airport, said she had forgiven the singer and would not pursue the matter.
Recounting the incident, Kaufman said "All I said was `Welcome to Thailand' and she just hit me, lost control and went crazy."
British business tycoon Richard Branson has postponed until next October an attempt to circle the globe in a balloon after bad weather in Morocco frustrated his scheduled take off.
The Duchess of York flew to Paris but avoided her former "financial adviser" John Bryan who is in the French capital reportedly finalising a £6 million kiss and tell book.
She made a whistlestop return trip last Wednesday for a business meeting with Belgian Princess Esmeralda de Rethy at the Ritz Hotel.
Meanwhile, at the Royal Monceau Hotel off the Champs Elysees, Mr Bryan was said to be ready to sell the story of his alleged affair with Queen Elizabeth's daughter in law.
