THE FORMER husband of Camilla Parker Bowles hopes his ex wife will win public acceptance and marry Prince Charles, the Sunday Express has reported.

Brian Connolly, singer with the 1970s glam rock band The Sweet, has died. He was aged 52. Connolly, whose hits included Blockbuster, Ballroom Blitz and Wig Wam Bam, had suffered many heart attacks after years of rock n roll excess.
The Sweet enjoyed hits both in Britain and the US, and sold 50 million records worldwide.
