THE 1956 production of Cecil B

THE 1956 production of Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments has been digitally restored, and will make its television debut in its new form on Easter Sunday on ABC television.

The network has been showing the film for the past 10 years and has just renewed broadcast rights to continue until 2009.

Jerry Hall (40) is to launch a new career in television. The wife of Mick Jagger has signed a contract with Granada Sky Broadcasting to present a one hour magazine programme, to be called Showbiz UK!, which will feature Hall interviewing the rich and famous.

Stephen Spielberg's next film, Saving Private Ryan, is to star Tom Hanks.
