THE marriage of Will and Julia Carling has ended, according to reports.
News of the divorce came just 36 hours after the Princess of Wales became a single woman.
Television presenter Julia Carling (30) brought the action, claiming the marriage had irretrievably broken down and blaming her husband's friendship with the Princess for their problems. But Will Carling insisted the relationship was entirely innocent.
The Princess of Wales, facing up to the need to put the sadness of her divorce behind her, is expected to fly away to somewhere sunny and relaxing soon.
She is thought to be planning to see her sons, Princes William and Harry, before the end of their school holidays, probably for an overseas trip to contrast with their current stay with their father at Balmoral.
Thieves have stolen a £500 bottle of whisky in a £10,000 raid on the home of television chef Keith Floyd.
He arrived home from holiday with his fourth wife, Tess, to discover that his house at Oxfordshire had been ransacked. Floyd is reported to be particularly angry that thieves stole his 100 year old bottle of Glenfiddich whisky.
