THE Huddersfield couple whose marriage ceremony was performed by a trainee vicar, have split up after just 10 months. The marriage of Rodney and Shirley Earnshaw last August was performed by Stephen Grant (19), a church server and history student after the vicar failed to turn up. Yesterday Grant expressed his sorrow at the split. He said he had met the Earnshaws at their marriage preparation classes and thought they seemed a very committed couple.
