Australian supermodel Elle MacPherson (34), nicknamed "The Body", is pregnant, her family said yesterday. Her brother said she told her family a month ago that she and boyfriend Arpad "Arkie" Bus son (35) are expecting a baby, her first, in February. There has been speculation recently that MacPherson was pregnant, although rumours until now were denied.

Princess Diana left Greece yesterday on board a private jet owned by the family of Dodi al-Fayed, after a six-day cruise on the Aegean Sea. During her stay, Diana was the number one priority of the Greek and international media who carried out a fruitless search for her.

A piece of the 1967 "Summer of Love" is to be sold off in San Francisco this autumn when souvenirs of the hippie era, including a house where Grateful Dead members lived in the 1960s, are auctioned.

Included are photographs of the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin, postcards from John Lennon and Yoko Ono to Black Panther leader Huey Newton and a letter from Joni Mitchell to David Crosby with her watercolour portrait of him.
