Racing:Perce Rock could make his eagerly-awaited debut over fences at Navan or Punchestown this weekend.
The lightly-raced five-year-old finished fourth in the 2006 Cheltenham bumper and was also second behind Silverburn in the Grade One Tolworth Hurdle last season.
Perce Rock finished down the field on his only other start at Punchestown, however, where he was found to be suffering from a respiratory tract infection.
"He just wasn't 100 percent right after he ran at Sandown and it took him a while to get back right," said Fozzy Stack, assistant to his father Tommy.
"We've decided to send him chasing as he jumps so well at home and he will probably run this weekend at either Navan or Punchestown — we just haven't made or mind up yet.
"If he doesn't run this weekend he will run next weekend, we are looking forward to him.
"He's got a fair engine on him and he doesn't mind soft ground but he has also run well on good ground.
"He has schooled well, though, and he is certainly something to look forward to during the winter."
