Two petrol bombs were thrown at a house in the Colindale Park area of Dunmurry, on the outskirts of Belfast, yesterday morning shortly after 3 o'clock.
The Catholic family living in the house claimed the attack was sectarian. However, a police spokeswoman said officers were investigating the attack but that no known motive had yet been established. SDLP Assembly member Ms Carmel Hanna condemned the attack and said there had been an upsurge in sectarian attacks in the area in recent months.
