IT rarely follows that a party lives up to its invitation, especially if that invite is a particularly smart one. For Independent Pictures's office warming they sent around a cute little gold picture frame with the party details printed on the glass - and it certainly worked, luring a very merry crowd to the extremely stylish new Fitzwilliam Square headquarters. The name is an umbrella for the five companies that share the building and are all in the business of producing TV programmes and ads as well as music videos and documentaries. They guaranteed a good party by inviting several extrovert types who have: appeared in their programmes, including the exuberant Paolo Tulio: and the irrepressible Clare McKeon. Phil Coulter and Geraldine Brannigan were there looking tanned and well and spent a lot of time deep in: conversation with Shay Healy, who owns one of the companies in the building.
The architects responsible for all the blond wood and groovy furniture are Edward N. Smith & Joe Kennedy who are well in with the racing set having designed a holiday home in Spain for Eddie Jordan and Eddie Irvine's Dalkey house.
