Rugby:Ruan Pienaar is included in the Ulster squad ahead of the visit of Glasgow Warriors to Ravenhill on Friday. The South African arrived in Belfast two weeks ago but was left out of the squad to face Connacht last week because of a shoulder injury.
The Springbok offers a new and talented option at either halfback position but it is anticipated he will make his first appearances at scrumhalf.
Scotland winger Simon Danielli has also recovered from a shoulder complaint, which required surgery in the summer, and is named among the backs.
Ian Whitten’s brother, Alan, has been called into the squad to cope with the loss of props BJ Botha, Declan Fitzpatrick and Adam Macklin, who are all unavailable through injury.
Stephen Ferris, Bryn Cunningham and David Pollock are also unavailable due to injury.
Brian McLaughlin will name his team to face Glasgow before 12 noon tomorrow.
