Santiago - The Supreme Court of Chile has delayed a judge's questioning of Gen Augusto Pinochet, the former dictator, scheduled for today.
Defence lawyers had asked the court to allow them to arrange physical and mental health examinations in advance of today's interrogation of the ex-dictator by Judge Juan Guzman.
Mr Guzman is co-ordinating almost 200 lawsuits against Gen Pinochet, including charges that he masterminded the "Caravan of Death", a military unit which executed 75 political prisoners across Chile in 1973.
