US rock singer Ms Courtney Love was arrested today as she landed on a transatlantic flight at Heathrow airport, Virgin Atlantic said.
Ms Love had been "verbally abusive" to cabin crew during the flight from Los Angeles and police were called and waiting for the flight to land.
Witnesses said police met the flight when it arrived andafter about 20 minutes Ms Love was escorted off the plane by two others and put into a police van.
"She was having a row with one of the flight attendants,"one passenger told reporters.

The passenger added: "I don't really know what happened because I was asleep atthe time. There were a lot of raised voices. But Courtney Love is Courtney Love - I guess that's rock and roll".
