British police today detained 20 more people believed to be potential hooligans ahead of the Germany v England World Cup qualifying match in Munich on Saturday.
Police stopped the people travelling from Eurotunnel, Dover Eastern Docks and Dover Hoverport, believing them to be possible "trouble makers".
Magistrates in Folkestone, Kent, will decide later today whether to impose travel banning orders.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Twenty people have so far been detained at the Kent ports under the Football Disorder Act."
"They are due to appear before Folkestone magistrates today when the magistrates will decide whether they should be subject to travel banning orders.
"They have been detained under new legislation as potential trouble makers intending to travel to the match which takes place in Munich, that is the England Germany match," he said.
Today’s action follows Thursday's police intervention when 12 people were detained under the Disorder Act at various British airports.
