THE Beef tribunal has cost over £13 million to date, the Minister for Agriculture, Mr Yates, disclosed. He also gave a breakdown of the fees paid so far as a result of orders made by the Taxing Master of the High Court.
The fees paid are: £754,760, to Michael D. White and Co, solicitors representing Mr Tombs Mac Giolla and Mr Pat Rabbitte; £3,993,772 to A. & L. Goodbody, solicitors representing Mr Larry Goodman and Goodman International; £1,726 to Dermot Fulham, solicitors representing Baltinglass Meats; £2,135, to MacGuill and Co, solicitors representing Mr Sean Sheelan and Mr Kevin McDonald, and £1,076,586 to Mr Rory O'Donnell and Co, solicitors representing Mr Larry Goodman and Goodman International.
