O'Moore Park in Portlaoise will host a football qualifier double header next Saturday when Cork take on Louth and Galway face Meath.

The beaten Munster finalists will bid to get their campaign back on track in the opening match at 2pm before Galway, surprisingly beaten by Sligo in the Connacht final, meet Meath in a repeat of the 2001 All-Ireland final.

The following weekend Derry, building quite a head of steam having already overcome Armagh and Mayo in previous rounds, face Laois at Breffni Park while Donegal come up against Monaghan in Omagh, after their loss to Tyrone in yesterday's Ulster final.

The venues and throw-in times for the All-Ireland hurling quarter finals have also been confirmed with all four matches taking place at Croke Park over the next two weekends.
