Electricity has now been restored to almost all of the homes in Northern Ireland affected by storms over the weekend, a spokesperson for Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) said.
At the height of the service disruption more than 9,000 houses were without power as winds reached almost 80 mph. The worst affected areas were Downpatrick, Newry and the Ards Peninsula.
NIE crews have worked through the weekend to carry out repairs.
The storms also saw a Co Antrim man have a lucky escape after a lightening bolt reportedly passed through his body.
Mr David Reilly was in bed in his house in Ballymoney when it was struck by lightning at 1 a.m. on Saturday. He was taken to hospital for treatment to burns to his hand and foot after the lightening bolt knocked slates off the roof, demolished ceilings and shorted electrical sockets.
