A forensic expert giving evidence yesterday in the Poyntzpass murders trial said DNA on a bag of clothing believed to have been worn in the shooting matched that of one of the accused, Mr Noel McCready (32). The court heard that a pubic hair found on briefs matched his DNA. Mr McCready, from Dickson Park, Seapatrick, and Mr Stephen McClean (30), from Hillside Park, Banbridge, are on trial for the murder of Mr Philip Allen and Mr Damien Trainer in the Railway Bar, Poyntzpass, Co Armagh, on March 3rd last year. Another man, Ryan Robley, pleaded guilty and awaits sentencing.
