THE President, Mrs Robinson, begins a three day visit to France today during which she will participate in events forming part of l'Imaginaire Irlandais, the six month festival of Irish culture under way there.
Mrs Robinson and the French President, Mr Jacques Chirac, will inaugurate an exhibition of work by 16 contemporary Irish artists in Paris tomorrow. Both presidents are the patrons of l'Imaginaire Irlandais.
Tomorrow Mrs Robinson will inaugurate an exhibition of works by James Coleman at the Museum of Modern Art in the Pompidou Centre. She will attend the opening night of the Abbey Theatre production of the Frank McGuinness play, Observe the Sons of Ulster Marching Towards the Somme, at the Odeon Theatre de l'Europe.
