President McAleese would be congratulated by many in the Seanad for her act of ecumenical worship in Christ Church Cathedral last weekend, Mr David Norris said. Her action had been deeply appreciated by members of his Church and, he thought, by a lot of other people.
It had demonstrated the very forward-looking attitude of the President.
