British boxer Prince Naseem Hamed won the IBO featherweight title clash after outpointing Spanish fighter Manuel Calvo in London last night.
Hamed, the WBO featherweight champion from 1995-2000, was returning to the ring for the first time for 13 months but was jeered after an unimpressive performance in front of 10,000 fans at the London Arena.
The fighter comprehensively defeated by Marco Antonio Barrera in Las Vegas on his last outing, looked sluggish and hardly even caused Calvo to rock on his soles.
Hamed easily gained the verdict, with scores of 120-110 and 119-109 (twice).
